Brad began working in real estate in 1984 as a title searcher, then worked as a mortgage loan officer and licensed real estate agent. He joined Batcha & Batcha in 1994 and has spent 32 years practicing real estate law.

That background informs how he approaches a transaction: connecting contract terms, title, financing and property-specific concerns with the client’s goals. He also shares his experience with the profession, having delivered more than 150 lectures on real estate law.

Advocacy before New Jersey’s courts.

Brad has argued five cases on behalf of the New Jersey State Bar Association: two before the New Jersey Supreme Court and three before the Appellate Division.

His Supreme Court appearances in 2017 and 2021 involved attorney review in real estate contracts and the consumer protections it provides. This work complements his day-to-day representation of buyers and sellers.

A personal understanding of the shore.

After losing his home in Superstorm Sandy, Brad navigated the rebuilding process himself. That experience deepened his understanding of flood insurance, mapping, elevations and waterfront development—and continues to inform his guidance to coastal property owners.
